Hotel Dilino, Kamari (Santorini)

I had a pleasant stay with a fantastic location just steps away from the beach and numerous restaurants nearby. The room was lovely, complete with a spacious balcony, but the cleaning service left something to be desired as they only cleaned once during my eight-day stay. Overall, it was decent value for money, especially with the amenities like free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, though a lack of on-site facilities was a bit inconvenient.

The hotel is ideally situated close to the beach and numerous dining options, making outings very convenient. The rooms are basic but clean, and having amenities like a fridge and air conditioning is a plus. However, communication with the staff can be tricky due to language barriers, and the lack of daily housekeeping was a downside. Overall, it's a decent place to stay for the price, but expect very limited services.

This place is definitely more of an accommodation than a full-fledged hotel, offering basic but clean rooms in a brilliant location just a minute from the beach. While the lack of facilities may put some off, the cleanliness of the rooms and the proximity to restaurants compensate for it. However, I did encounter some issues with cleanliness during my stay, and the absence of amenities like a kettle or hair dryer can be inconvenient.

The location in Kamari is perfect—right in the heart of the village yet peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. However, the infrequent cleaning of the rooms was a bit of a downside, and I wish there was a cooking option for those longer stays.
